Your contribution to the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) makes STEM education accessible to students, teachers and aspiring inventors across the country. To date, NIHF sponsors and donors have helped reach more than 1 million young minds through classrooms, curricula and competitions.
There are many ways you can make a difference as either a sponsor or an individual donor.
STEM Education Programs
Inspire innovation and creativity, promote Intellectual Property Literacy® and teacher professional development, and help build a strong STEM workforce.
Your gift will support our mission to make STEM education accessible to all children, including those who are underserved and may otherwise lack access to high-quality enrichment programs that can impact their future. Through your generosity, more than 47,000 underserved children get an immersive, STEM experience annually.
National Inventors Hall of Fame Induction Event
NIHF is the country’s foremost nonprofit dedicated to honoring legendary inventors whose innovations have improved our world. Each year, your contributions help us to welcome a new class of Inductees and to connect them with the next generation.
As our sponsor, you can cultivate relationships with the world’s greatest innovators and industry leaders.
Collegiate Inventors Competition
The Collegiate Inventors Competition® encourages innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity in university students who are working on cutting-edge inventions. Your support empowers these bright young minds to produce solutions to real-world problems and fuel economic growth and progress worldwide.
As our sponsor, you can build brand recognition with industry leaders, gain access to emerging collegiate innovators and shape the future of innovation.
Annual support from corporations, foundations and individuals provides the vital resources necessary to develop and sustain our preschool through high school STEM education programs, the Collegiate Inventors Competition, NIHF and the museum.
Partner with us to inspire ongoing innovation in America.
NIHF endowment provides stability and funding for us to create new programs. Endowments can be established to support the area where you have the greatest interest or the area with the greatest need.
Unrestricted endowment funds provide the board and NIHF staff with the greatest flexibility. Unrestricted funds may be used to stimulate creativity in the minds of children and young adults and recognize inventors who have done so much for our future.
Donors may make gifts that are restricted to one or more specific purposes. We will work with you to structure a fund that reflects your specific interests.
Additionally, we have established endowment funds, which you may consider:
Providing programmatic outreach and scholarships to children entering our Invention Playground® preschool, Camp Invention summer, Club Invention afterschool, Invention Project middle school and Leadership Intern high school programs.
Engaging undergraduate and graduate students through programs like the Collegiate Inventors Competition.
Supporting the NIHF Museum, annual selection process, Induction Events and Inductee outreach programs.
NIHF is a nonprofit organization incorporated under section 501(c) 3 of the IRS code. All charitable gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
