Don’t Miss Our D.C. Innovation Day Professional Development Event

Free Opportunity: Professional Development in Education

The National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) is hosting a hands-on professional development program for educators in the Washington, D.C. area. This one-day event will be held at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and will focus on inquiry-based learning. The day consists of a packed schedule including:

  • keynote presentation by NIHF Inductee Al Langer, co-inventor of the implantable heart defibrillator
  • Hands-on activities inspired by real-world inventors and practical strategies that transform learning
  • Exploration of design thinking, creative problem solving, entrepreneurship and student-lead learning
  • Tour of the NIHF Museum

Date: Saturday, January 12, 2019

Time: 8:00 a.m.— 3:30 p.m.
