Innovation begins with inspiration. That’s why the National Inventors Hall of Fame^® is committed to sparking the imagination of every child, challenging collegiate inventors to bring their ideas to market, and leading every American to find inspiration in the stories of our world-changing Hall of Fame Inductees.

With support from our philanthropic partners, our nonprofit is guiding the next generation to develop the inventive mindset our Inductees exemplify. Together, we are building a future defined by possibility and impact.

Reflecting on Our Progress

The National Inventors Hall of Fame was founded in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office more than 50 years ago. Our reach has grown through the decades, and today, we are determined to reach even farther.

Each year, our partners, sponsors and donors make it possible to welcome a new class of Inductees, recognize the nation’s most promising student inventors and bring hands-on invention education to children who are just beginning to imagine what their futures might hold.

In 2025 alone, National Inventors Hall of Fame education programs reached more than 288,000 children in grades PreK–12. Through Camp Invention^®, Club Invention^® and Invention Project^®, students became explorers, designers, engineers and entrepreneurs as they took on new, exciting STEM challenges. In each program experience, they discovered lessons from legendary Hall of Fame Inductees.

Setting Goals for the Future

As the need for greater access and more opportunities continues to grow, the National Inventors Hall of Fame remains committed to working with our partners, sponsors and donors to create even more opportunities to honor, inspire and challenge inventors of all ages.

Together, we will:

• Provide more scholarships, ensuring that children across the country can participate in hands-on STEM and invention education programs that boost confidence, inspire curiosity and build vital skills
   
• Partner with more school districts to bring invention education into more classrooms and communities, strengthening academic outcomes while helping students learn to see themselves as innovators and problem solvers
   
• Deliver high-quality learning experiences and resources to more educators and families, empowering them to keep young learners engaged in meaningful, memorable lessons
   
• Guide more children to identify inventors as role models, prompting them to see their own potential as they find relatable heroes who demonstrate persistence, ingenuity and the drive to help others
   
• Equip our country’s future workforce with an innovative mindset and essential skills, preparing the next generation to think critically, collaborate effectively, and approach tomorrow’s challenges with creativity and resilience
