Hands-On Learning From a Distance
Our tested Camp Invention Connect program delivers everything children need to complete hands-on activities throughout the week right to their doorstep. From camp exclusive items like a golden wireless microphone in Open Mic and materials to build a transforming all-terrain vehicle in Road Rally, to everyday items like scissors, tape, markers and pipe-cleaners, campers have all the supplies necessary to begin innovating on day one.
Live Instruction and Collaboration
Camp Invention Connect features live online sessions led by a certified educator Coach who guides children through a collection of engaging games and activities. While online, campers can make new friends and work together on their inventions. In addition to the daily instruction, each day offers multiple collaboration sessions where campers can team up, socialize and have fun.
Camp Your Way
Camp Invention Connect offers flexibility, making it possible for children to experience the program in the way that works best for them — from attending live virtual sessions throughout each day to enjoying a completely unplugged and self-led experience — we have set the program up to accommodate it all. For those that want to join the live sessions, you will have a full five-day schedule with corresponding Zoom links making it super simple to join. For those who opt for unplugged, along with all the materials you need, we will ship you step-by-step Inventor Logs to tackle each STEM challenge at your own pace. If they prefer to spend part of the day away from the screen, and the rest of their time online with their friends, they can do that as well!
