During the summer, children are empowered to have big ideas while they take on challenges that inspire them to question, brainstorm, collaborate with teammates, and build amazing invention prototypes. No matter what your child wants to be when he or she grows up, Camp Invention sets a foundation for creativity, innovation, and problem solving that will serve him or her well, whatever path he or she chooses.
Club Invention is an exciting afterschool program based on the same guiding principles as Camp Invention. Children work in teams to creatively brainstorm on ways to solve everyday challenges and enhance their understanding of essential STEM concepts.
Invention Project takes middle schoolers all the way through the product development life cycle. Working in teams, young innovators get the opportunity to be entrepreneurs, from concept to prototype to packaging. Then, they’ll market and pitch their ideas to mock investors!
Our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program enables your seventh-through-ninth grader to participate in our Camp Invention program in a whole new way. It’s still a week of creativity and hands on fun, but now there is leadership training and goal-setting skills built in.
High school & college students
For high school sophomores through seniors and even college students, a Leadership Internship is the ultimate resume and college application builder. This is a chance to hone mentoring skills, obtain valuable leadership skills, and gain intellectual property knowledge. Both Camp Invention and Invention Project programs need great Leadership Interns, but space is limited.
Discover new and exciting ways to bring STEM-based learning to your classroom.
Our programs don’t stop at the student level. Parents seek schools with curriculum that bring science, technology, engineering, and math to the forefront. That’s why the National Inventors Hall of Fame created professional development programs and workshops. Our workshops give educators and school districts practical, research-based and National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductee-driven strategies to bring innovation and creativity into the classroom.
