Leadership Interns

For high school sophomores through seniors and even college students, a Leadership Internship is the ultimate resume and college application builder. This is a chance to hone mentoring skills, obtain valuable leadership traits, and gain intellectual property knowledge. Camp Invention needs great Leadership Interns, but space is limited.

What is Camp Invention?

Camp Invention is a weeklong summer experience where your child’s creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills are challenged in fun and exciting ways. And while our top priority is helping to inspire future waves of big, bright thinkers, we also know that fun matters. So be ready to have some serious fun.

Here are some of the amazing things you’ll do as a Leadership Intern

  • Earn up to 40 volunteer hours – Great for National Honor Society membership, other graduation requirements, and college applications
  • Closely mentor and inspire Camp Invention Counselors-in-Training and campers
  • Facilitate activities to build and use your leadership, mentorship, and time management skills
  • Improve communications skills through interactions with parents, educators, and participants
  • Learn entrepreneurial and intellectual property concepts through the lens of invention and innovation
  • Get formalized, online leadership training from a professional coaching and training organization
  • Gain valuable knowledge about the importance of intellectual property protection concepts and processes guided by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
  • Receive a letter of recognition provided by the USPTO
