Club Invention is a Flexible, Engaging STEM Program for Grades 1-6

Immersive Invention Education

Club Invention® makes it easy to promote critical and creative thinking in afterschool settings. Providing opportunities to take risks and develop new ideas, this hands-on program gives children the insight and inspiration to thrive as problem solvers.

Through eight exciting units, Club Invention emphasizes each element of the Innovation Mindset, which empowers children to realize their potential and overcome challenges in any area of life.

Innovative Experiences

Our research-based curriculum allows educators to lead with confidence, encouraging open-ended exploration, building 21st-century skills and guiding children to use their imagination as they create prototypes.

Flexible Curriculum

Eight units offer eight hours of programming each and may be implemented during or after school. Each unit incorporates a range of subject areas and aligns to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards for grades 1-6.

Social-Emotional Learning

Through engaging stories and materials, children experience empathy and advance their capacity for civic responsibility as they explore the invention of new ideas and discover ways to share them with the world.

Children join an engineer, architect and builder to restore a town by designing, creating and testing structures including shelters and bridges.

Curriculum Guide

Each Club Invention unit includes step-by-step instructions, activity objectives, subject background, vocabulary, guiding questions and discussion prompts.

Extension Resources

The program units include a tech addendum for flexible in-school and afterschool implementation options, as well as literacy and science extensions.

Materials Kit

Receive hands-on materials for classrooms of up to 25 students, plus posters and handouts for an immersive experience.
