Invent Now is America’s premier nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing inventors and invention everywhere, promoting creativity, and advancing the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Invent Now was founded in 1973 as the National Inventors Hall of Fame to recognize the great inventors of our time.  Over the past 38 years, Invent Now has expanded that core mission – through the development of national education and recognition programs – to recognize, encourage, and inspire future generations of inventors.  Invent Now’s programs include:                         

• The Camp Invention and Club Invention summer and afterschool programs;

• The Collegiate Inventors Competition outreach to over 2,000 college campuses and the ensuing Collegiate Inventors Competition award ceremony;

• The Ad Council advertising and marketing campaign, Inspiring Invention (www.inventnow.org);

• Adult outreach programs that encourage adults to invent, including Independent Inventors Conferences held in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office; and

• The development of exhibits for the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Museum at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia, and the National Inventors Hall of Fame Invention Gallery at the National Inventors Hall of Fame School in Akron, Ohio.
