Finance Intern

Purpose:  This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking to gain hands-on experience in the area of accounting.

The Finance Intern will work with the Finance team in supporting NIHFF’s Camp Invention, a national summer enrichment program for children in grades 1 – 6.  The Finance Intern will provide general administrative support as it relates to generating checks, working with Customer Service to resolve compensation issues/questions, and verification of web registrations for accuracy.  In addition, he/she will assist with AP input, scanning of checks, and general filing. 

Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, inclusive of Excel; accounting software experience preferred.  Must possess excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail.  Team player mentality and the ability to remain focused when working in close proximity to other staff members.  Previous office experience desirable.

The candidate must be available from June 2009 thru August 2009 approximately 35 hours a week.  This is a paid position.
